Special Needs Programs
Potential is made possible at the J.
JCC Chicago’s growing number of special needs programs demonstrates our commitment to providing inclusive opportunities for all members of our community. That is the J of life.
We believe inclusion is not a program, but an approach to community-building. Everyone benefits when we play, learn, celebrate and grow together.
Our All-In Swim aquatics inclusion program uses an exclusive curriculum and certified staff to teach children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) water safety and the foundation for proper swim techniques.
JCC Chicago’s summer camp inclusion programs were created for parents who need a supportive environment where professional staff help their child gain independence, learn and play just like everyone else.
All Star Abilities (ASA) is a fitness literacy, wellness instruction, and recreational opportunity for teenagers with special needs in concert with community partners and peer volunteers.
