Through living in yurts, forging trails, fire building, outdoor cooking, creating natural art, and so much more, campers will foster an even stronger connection to the great outdoors and become part of a special community of like-minded people.
All Star Abilities, a peer-to-peer fitness program for teens with and without disabilities, has been running for nearly six years and that’s thanks to Grace Goodman. In high school, Grace conceived the program and helped get it started at the J after seeing a need for fitness and wellness opportunities for teens with disabilities. Now, she shares why it was important to establish the program and how it will continue impacting teens today!

Throughout the month, internationally recognized Disability Rights Activist Judy Heumann joins JCC Chicago for virtual conversations about inclusion, disabilities, and belonging in the Jewish community and beyond. Virtual Q+As will spark conversations for adults on Tues., February 1, and teens on Tues., February 22. Plus, families can enjoy a virtual, interactive Sign Language Havdalah on Sat., February 12. All programs are FREE.
