A legacy is etched into the minds of others
and the stories they share about you.
– Shannon L. Adler
A legacy gift is a financial commitment directed to the JCC Chicago Endowment Foundation. Your gift will generate income over time to sustain Jewish life today, tomorrow and for the future, allowing you to share your values and your story with generations to come.
All of us, regardless of age, wealth or affiliation, have the capacity to leave a meaningful Jewish legacy. We invite you to plant the seeds for future generations by becoming part of the JCC Chicago Pomegranate Society.
Your financial commitment can be directed to a specific JCC Chicago area of interest or program that has made an impression on your life, family or individual community or in honor or memory of a loved one.
– Shannon L. Adler
Bequests are specific gifts through your will that allow you to retain your assets during your lifetime, provide tax advantages and ensure that the values you share with JCC Chicago will impact future generations. If you have already arranged to include JCC Chicago in your estate plans, please let us know so that we may honor and recognize your generosity.
Life insurance is an inexpensive and easy way to make a significant future gift to an organization. Donors with life insurance they no longer need can assign dividends or policy ownership to the JCC Chicago Endowment Foundation. Another option is to designate the JCC Endowment Foundation as the beneficiary of an existing policy.
Life Income Plans are an excellent way to create your legacy, benefit from tax deductions and earn high rates of return that can provide income for your loved ones. Possibilities include:
Please note that there are additional vehicles available, including those that provide income during your lifetime. Please consult with a financial or estate planning professional to understand the implications of a gift for your circumstances and goals.
Named Endowment Funds
We provide an opportunity for you to establish a permanent endowment in your name or in honor of a loved one, making a difference today and for future generations. Please call us to discuss your specific interests and to learn more about endowment giving opportunities.
