Growing Hope is a call to action, a mindset, and movement designed to combat a growing crisis of hopelessness, anxiety, and fear by engaging our community, and youth in particular, as upstanders in their communities. Rooted in the Jewish spirit of Tikkun Olam (repairing our world), Growing Hope will empower our community to use the tools of empathy, kindness, and creativity in service of building a brighter future for all.
JCC Chicago’s newest exhibit, features Jewish athletes before, during & after the Holocaust. Featuring reproductions of rare memorabilia from the collection of Neil Keller, this dynamic exhibit tells the stories of the incredible resiliency and unshakable spirit of courageous Jewish athletes in the face of the atrocities of the Holocaust, and the foundation established for future generations of Jewish athletes.

JCC Chicago’s Growing Hope presents this ongoing project from famed Israeli artist and photojournalist Erez Kaganovitz that brings to light the human stories of the unique Israelis who stood up against terrorism. The exhibit shows the Israeli DNA at its best and exemplifies the incredible spirit and resilience of the Israeli people.
