- All programs run from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
- AfterCare is available at selected locations from 4:00-6:00pm.
- Field Trips: Children will be bussed to and from field trip locations. All children must be at the drop-off location no later than 8:45am. Buses will NOT wait for late children.
- JCC In-House Days: Children are bussed to a JCC facility for theme days, enrichment opportunities, and other activities. Children should be at the drop-off location no later than 8:45am.
School’s Out Day: $75/day
Weeklong Rate: Discounted per site
To guarantee your spot, we recommend registering online. Online registration will close at 3:30pm the weekday prior to the program date. After the deadline, please call J at School at 312.775.1848 to inquire about space availability. Hyde Park registrants can call 773.753.3080. Registrations taken over the phone past the registration deadline will incur a drop-in rate of $100.
Families will receive a confirmation email the day before the School’s Out program with information regarding busing, lunches and other pertinent information.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
If the participant minimum is not met within 3 business days before the School’s Out date, the day will be cancelled and families will be notified via email. Families will be given the choice to transfer to another site, if that site is running.
If a program is cancelled due to low enrollment, families are given a full refund. Cancellations made by families within 24 hours of the program will not be granted a refund.
Pick Up & Drop Off
School’s Out Days take place from 8am to 4pm. You can drop off as early as 8am but all children must be at the JCC location by 8:45am at the latest. Children must be signed in daily. Buses will then depart to the field trip destination, unless it is a JCC Site Day.
On Field Trip days, all children must be at the drop-off location no later than 8:45am. We will NOT wait for late children. Children must be in a group before getting on the bus.
For the safety and security of your child, we do not allow drop off or pick up from the field trip locations. We will not accept any late children brought to the field trip location.
Please be on time for pick up. If you do not pick up your child by 4:15 pm, you will be charged $15 for after care. If someone else is picking up your child, please write their name on the roster in the morning.
After care runs from 4:00-6:00pm. Any child who is left after 6:10pm will be charged a $20 penalty fee as well as $1 per minute they are late.
In the event of inclement weather, we may make a decision to delay opening our programs or facilities until 10:00am to give staff extra time to travel or ensure our sites are fully functioning. In extreme cases, we may decide to close an entire facility.
