The evening will be emceed by co-host of Windy City Live and Lead Sports Anchor at ABC7 Chicago, Ryan Chiaverini and headlined by Jeff Tweedy, founding member and leader of the Grammy award-winning band, Wilco, who will be introduced by WXRT’s Marty Lennartz! Performances include our Growing Hope Ambassadors—Grey Morgan, Mary Grace Junkins, and Sylvia Pine—along with the Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra and more! Kick off the season at JCC Chicago’s 5th Annual Fall Fest! A free afternoon of autumn fun for the whole family. Stop by and connect with the Jewish organizations that help our community grow, thrive, and shine! Enjoy activities including inflatables, bubble stations, mini golf, and more! Sunday, September 21 | 2pm – 4pm.
Bring your blankets and a picnic dinner! Join JCC Early Childhood and Apachi Day Camp for a magical Shabbat evening under the stars. Enjoy live music, bubble stations, outdoor games, and more as we gather together in community and celebration. Every family will also receive a special “Shabbat in a Bag” complete with challah and meaningful items to bring the spirit of Shabbat home. All are welcome—come celebrate with us! Registration requested by Sept. 10 Friday, Sept. 12, 5:30–6:30pm at ‘Z’ Frank Apachi in Northbrook. $18 per family.
