Early Childhood
When we speak about community, we speak about places of sharing, learning, growing and connection.
For some 800 young children in the Chicago area, that first community begins in JCC Chicago’s Early Childhood programs. Every classroom is an extraordinary learning community that inspires a love of learning and a celebration of Jewish identity in every child. Our renowned teachers work closely with each child as they explore music and art, embrace nature and the outdoors and engage in active learning, laying a foundation of a life-long learner. We look forward to starting your child on his or her journey.
Here, our young children discover helping friends is just as important as mastering numbers. Following their curiosity is the best way to become a confident learner. Respecting traditions can help them understand what it means to be Jewish in a multicultural world.
As they move on to the real world of elementary school, they will find tucked in their pockets the lessons of a lifetime: friendship, community and the growing power of their Jewish identity.
