Northbrook Herald: A Living Memorial

JCC plants 500 daffodil bulbs to honor children killed in the Holocaust. More than 80 families planted 500 daffodil bulbs this week in a new living memorial garden at Bernard Weinger JCC. The effort was part of The Daffodil Project, which aspires to build a worldwide Living Holocaust Memorial by planting 1.5 million daffodils in memory of the 1.5 million children murdered during the Holocaust. The Daffodil Project also supports children suffering in humanitarian crises around the world.
