The Belief in a Thing Makes it Happen
Heather Sabin and Megan Graffius will share the story of Frank Lloyd Wright’s labor of love, Monona Terrace, a “dream civic center” project for his hometown of Madison, Wisconsin.
As a museum educator, Heather Sabin has taught organic gardening at the Chicago Botanic Garden and organic architecture at Taliesin and Monona Terrace. She has led the Terrace’s tours, volunteers, and educational activities since 2000 and produced the award-winning “Terrace Town” box city program for elementary students.
Megan Graffius has been at Monona Terrace, in the Community Relations department, since 2014. Previously, she taught Middle School for 14 years and has a passion for lifelong learning. At Monona Terrace, she enjoys helping people discover and enjoy Frank Lloyds Wright’s design, along with showcasing the great city of Madison, WI.
