This presentation will discuss Frank Lloyd Wright’s legacy of culture, nature, community, and innovative thinking at his home estate of Taliesin and how it has inspired the growth of the laboratory for living that the public can engage with today. Join Carrie Rodamaker, Executive Director and Christina Harrington, Visitor Experience Manager for this exciting “visit”.
Carrie Rodamaker has been involved with Taliesin Preservation for 18 years, Carrie has worked within multiple departments, gaining a full understanding of the intricate operations within the organization. Carrie works with her highly skilled team to develop public tours and engaging programs that invite visitors to return to Taliesin time and time again to discover Wright’s legacy in its entirety through meaningful experiences. Carrie has served on the board for Wright in Wisconsin, Spring Green Area Chamber of Commerce, Southwest Wisconsin Visitors Bureau, and is currently serving on the honorary fundraising committee for the AD German Warehouse Conservancy. Prior to Taliesin Preservation, Carrie worked for nearly a decade at the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation in Madison, WI.
Christina Harrington has been part of the Taliesin community for four years, she began as the Interpretive Trail Development Intern, worked as manager of the historic landscape, and has been in her current position since January of 2019. A graduate of Cornell University and University College London, she is passionate about sharing historic buildings with the public, especially the unique vision of Frank Lloyd Wright at Taliesin.
