This Week: Spring Wildflowers
Unlock the healing magic of the natural world with woodland wildflowers. Nature is inherently calming and walks in nature reduce stress and anxiety. During this one-hour program, you will experience the beauty of nature while walking and learning about the spring woodland wildflowers that carpet the forest floor locally in May. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for walking on nature center trails. We welcome you to bring a packed lunch or snack to extend your time at the nature center afterwards.
- If you are unwell, or have been in contact with someone who is unwell in the last two weeks, you must stay home.
- Participants must wear face masks. Face masks are required while participating in programs at the Forest Preserves of Cook County nature centers and JCC Chicago.
- Maintain a distance of six feet from others whenever possible.
