This Week: Bird Watching
Unlock the healing magic of the natural world with birdwatching. Nature is inherently calming and birdwatching reduces anxiety. During this one-hour program, you will experience the joy of watching birds and learn about the different kinds of birds that visit the birdfeeders at River Trail Nature Center. Binoculars will be available to use onsite. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for walking around the nature center. We welcome you to bring a packed lunch or snack to extend your time at the nature center afterwards.
- If you are unwell, or have been in contact with someone who is unwell in the last two weeks, you must stay home.
- Participants must wear face masks. Face masks are required while participating in programs at the Forest Preserves of Cook County nature centers and JCC Chicago.
